The first summer of a new decade calls for action, so, I am again fundraising for Bike4Chai in support of Camp Simcha (campsimcha.org).

This year, as we know, everything is different. The traditional 180-mile overnight journey through NY, NJ and PA has been modified. Instead, riders will opt to ride 80, 100 or 120 miles on August 13th, with a mid-ride stop at Camp Simcha. Unfortunately for me, a recently broken foot means I won’t be doing the ride. But, I’ve redoubled my efforts to do what I can to support Camp Simcha.

For years, Camp Simcha has been running a remarkable overnight camp that provides seriously ill children with a vacation from sickness, restoring their spirits and renewing their determination to fight. Camp Simcha is an oasis of fun, joy and peace for the kids.

I'm not exaggerating when I say that Camp Simcha pulled out all the stops this summer to somehow, someway open "Camp Simcha Without Borders" for its campers.

But, enough talk. My goal is to raise $5,000+ and I hope you will join and help me reach this goal. (All donations are 100% tax-deductible.)
