I am proud and a little nervous to announce I will be drafting behind my kid brother in a huge charity bike ride event this August! My nephew Chaim will reach his bar mitzvah this summer, and will then bravely head to this amazing support camp for kids with chronic health problems for his second time.

This is a big deal. I will be training in the ridiculous swog (sweaty smog) of Southeast Asia for the next three months while asking anyone who looks like they own more than one pair of shoes for a donation.

Please consider giving. Camp Simcha is exactly what kids need, who do not have the same normal day-to-day as the kids most of us know. Campers are invited to spend a cost-free week playing, learning, being challenged, and being themselves ... without the worry of hospitals, pills, treatments and isolation.

Chaim is wicked smart, funny, weird, self-assured, and has regular health struggles, but still loves having fun and playing with other kids. It took a LOT of guts for him to get on that Camp Simcha bus last summer, but now he cannot WAIT to go again.

Please donate generously, so Chaim and others like him can have a summer camp experience to remember. Many of you I will reach out to personally to see if you can help me make my goal, in between grueling rides in the Bangkok swog.
