I have never done something like this before and dedicate my ride and charity raised this year in the memory of my dear father in-law, Dr. Mordechai (Mark) Respler, z"l. Daddy passed away suddenly a few months ago from COVID-19. He was doctor that was dedicated to his patients to the very end. Daddy always had a warm place in his heart for Chai Lifeline and the children this amazing organization serves. In our own extended family, Chai Lifeline has helped support during the diagnosis and treatment of a family member's serious pediatric illness. And to the very end, even after many many years of that family member's total remission, Daddy still said Tehillim for him every single day.

This year is different for all of us. While the world has seemingly “shut down” due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Chai Lifeline has been busier than ever offering continued care and support to its vulnerable families. Throughout this crisis, Chai Lifeline has been providing families with essential services, including meals delivered to hospitals and homes, transportation to medical appointments, emergency financial assistance, counseling, insurance advocacy, personal protective equipment for immunocompromised families, and care packages and virtual programming for quarantined children.

Thank you for supporting me, and in doing so, helping children and their families cope with the diagnosis, treatment, and the aftermath of serious pediatric illness.
