Cancer Sucks!

This is the 2nd year I am riding to help out this great organization Chai Lifeline by participating in the 11th annual Bike4Chai ride. We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. Unfortunately, I have lost a number relatives including my grandparents Morris & Frieda Beyda a'h, my cousin Joey Beyda a'h, my aunt Sondra Sutton a'h, and my uncle Marty Meneshe a'h all to this dreaded disease. My sister is a multi-time survivor as well so this organization really hits home.

The first summer of a new decade calls for action and therefore I will be partaking in a life-changing event: a 100+ -mile bike ride through NY, NJ and PA. This is no ordinary ride; it’s an exhilarating cycling event ending at Camp Simcha, a remarkable overnight camp that provides seriously ill children with a vacation from sickness, restoring their spirits and renewing their determination to fight.

Life for a child with cancer or other serious illness is grueling; Chai Lifeline’s flagship programs, Camp Simcha and Camp Simcha Special, offer 430 children a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again.
