In 2021 I am riding in memory/honor of my nephew Steven. He was an amazing young man who was so much fun to be around. As a child he was hit crossing the street and was paralyzed from the neck down. He did not have use of his limbs. He had prolonged hospital stay recovering from the accident.

Steven was able move home and live with family after his accident. With the support of family and friends Steven was able to endure and do so much in his short life. He was able to have his bar mitzvah. He was able to keep positive and keep people laughing even in the most difficult times. He was my hero growing up.

Unfortunately, he passed away from complications related to his illness.

I believe if he were alive today that Chai Lifeline would have been a major support to our family. In fact, I believe that Chai Lifeline would have been a place he could have gone to for camp at Camp Simcha Special.

This is why I am dedicated my ride this year to my hero Steven Buchbinder.

Please donate in his honor.

Best Regards,

Alan Buchbinder
