Dear friend,
Today, we are all facing a harsh, new reality. Chai Lifeline Montreal has rose to the challenge and attacked it head on.

Covid-19 has unfortunately made us more relevant than ever. The sick kids and their families are now home bound, and sadly many treatments have been stalled or delayed.
In the absence of Camp Simcha and due to strict isolation requirements, we are running individualized family summer camps, tailor made for each child and their family.
We have efficiently adapted and are now servicing every family and child according to their specific needs.
As a consequence, our expenses have increased significantly. We have refused to allow these added costs to compromise our standard of care.

Bike4chai, our annual bikeathon that is held in NJ and upstate NY is no longer a fundraising resource that we can benefit from.
For the first time ever we have pioneered our very own bikeathon, Bike4chai 2020. The ride will be held for Canadians, and will take place right here, in our own backyard.
On August 13th, myself, as well as 50 other riders, will ride 135km and climb 1800 meters on the hills of Mt. Tremblant in the Laurentian mountains.
Our goal is to raise $500,000 for Chai Lifeline Montreal. These funds will support the vital work that we do, every single day.

On a personal level, cancer has viciously struck again. My younger brother was diagnosed in October with AML Leukemia. In 2 weeks I will be donating my bone marrow to him and with Gods help, he will have a full recovery.
Once again I am getting to witness the devastation and havoc that cancer wreaks on the entire family. Once again it is heartening to witness how community and care organizations step in and ensure that the family gets the support it so desperately needs.

I am reaching out to you, my friends and supporters, for your generosity. In these turbulent times we beg you to dig deep, so that no sick child or family will be left to suffer through serious illness alone.
"Giving is not about making a donation. It is about making a difference."

Please help me achieve my personal goal of raising $100,000 so that the incredible work of Chai Lifeline can continue, allowing more kids to be kids again and helping us fight illness with love.
This year I have been challenged by a fellow rider, if I reach my goal of raising $100,000 he will raise $250,000, so with every dollar raised is being matched x 2.5 times!

All donations are 100% tax deductible in both Canada and the USA. You can also let me know your pledge and we can invoice you.
